Annay De, Jadavpur University's Young Economist of the Year 2024, is an M.Sc. Economics student at the University of Calcutta, B.T. Road Campus.
He is also a top graduate of Dinabandhu Andrews College. With internships at the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Asia in Global Affairs, he has contributed to government-linked projects and published research articles.
Actively involved in Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NGO initiatives under NITI Aayog, he has also established academic societies, judged and led Economics events, and participated in conferences. Recipient of 35+ academic awards, his research spans sustainable development, finance, gender gaps, and labor force participation.
